Lotus Project Implementation is an engineering consulting firm, engaged in multidisciplinary studies and projects focused on the management of enterprises and project implementation in different segments, covering a variety of economic areas. Lotus provides distinguished and complementary assistance offering services management, including: organizational structure, expansion and maintenance of network TV, projects, buildings and ventures among others, in its various stages.
Case:
Lotus has contracted Calix to design and develop its main software system; a web-based software to provide a complete project management system to support customer follow-up during the project implementation.
A special module in the system provides a complete management of TV transmission towers. Integrated with this module is a rich web interface which enables customer monitoring and managing of the TV transmission towers by viewing cover maps, telemetry data and other occurrences in real time.

Net.CRM: CRM software based on SugarCRM Community Edition®, with specific customizations for Brazilian reality.
Apache® Web Server: Currently the most successful free web server. It was created in 1995 by Rob McCool at the time was an employee of the NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications). It is the core technology of the Apache Software Foundation, responsible for over a dozen projects involving transmission through web technologies, data processing and execution of distributed applications.
PHP®: Free interpreted programming language, created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995 and maintained by an organization called The PHP Group. It is free software licensed under the PHP License, and widely used today for developing web applications. Facebook® is a great example of an application developed with this programming language.

The service currently offers maps and routes, satellite images from around the world, with the possibility of zooming into big cities and integration by KML files.

Web Services: Technological solution used widely for system integration and for communication between different applications, making it possible for new applications to interact with legacy systems developed on different platforms, since it can send and receive data between them.
