About the Client:

For more than 40 years in Brazil, the Consigaz accumulated extensive experience in the bottling and distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG or LP Gas), emerging as one of the most important brands in the country.
 
Consigaz has the largest and most modern distribution and storage facilities of LP Gas, and it serves more than 24 million consumers every year, in both segment LPG cylinders and cylinders for bulk gas supply, distributed through Consigaz Bobtail System.

Case:

Business Process Reengineering - this project aims to address and analyze Consigaz business processes, by making observations and notes of the problems and redundancies encountered and suggesting improvements to the current business process. At the end of the project a plan was defined containing the necessary steps for implementation of the changes and improvements evaluated.
 
This work provided the following parameters for strategic decisions aligned with IT:
  • Maturity level of current business processes relating it to the ideal process (best practices).
  • Level of usage of the systems related to business processes.
  • Maturity level of current systems to answer the suggested business process.

Tools and Technologies Applied:

Datasul EMS®: It is a solution for Enterprise Management System (EMS), maintained by DATASUL currently owned by TOTVS, with two versions, EMS and EMS 2® 5®, which includes several modules that are designed to automate and manage processes such as finance, human resources, logistics, and manufacturing, among others.
 
Datasul HCM®: The Datasul Human Capital Management® is a human capital management system that works through modules integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP). Its features include the five macro processes of human capital management: planning, procurement, development, compensation and monitoring, while offering advantages such as the Environmental Management solution.
 
Sybase Power Designer®: Tool that supports the following phases and models the software development process: business processes modeling (visual specification of stakeholders, their activities and areas of responsibility); requirements analysis(specification of requirements in text form); modeling of use cases; software architecture (visual specification of the Object-Oriented Model); structural modeling of interaction (UML); and data architecture and data modeling (Conceptual Model, Logical Model and Physical Model).
 
Business Process Modeling Notation® (BPMN): Notation for the Business Process Modeling and Business Process Architecture for the business process management methodology, developed by Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI) and currently maintained by the Object Management Group (OMG), which contains a series of icons, standards definitions and modeling for process design, which facilitates the understanding of the parties involved in the process.
 
Unified Modeling Language® (UML): A non proprietary third-generation modeling language which allows developers to view the products of their work in standardized diagrams to represent: structure, behavior, clustering, and annotation.
